Student removes Jinnah’s photo from B’desh university, calls him ‘villain'

A student at Dhaka University removed an image of Pakistan’s first Prime Minister, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, from a new museum display, calling him a “villain.” “Jinnah is the father of Pakistan…he stood against Bengali and Bangla language, he is a villain,” said Habildar, the student who removed the picture. Bangladesh gained independence from Pakistan after the 1971 war.
