The students of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) held protests demanding improvement in food quality in the canteens and expansion in hostel accommodations. According to students, the hostel admissions have not started with full capacity due to which they are forced to stay at costlier rented flats. A university official said the students' demands will be looked into.
