Students beaten over extra rice in Thiruvananthapuram

Three people, including a restaurant owner, were taken into custody after school students were allegedly beaten at Capital Mandi in Pettah, Thiruvananthapuram. The incident reportedly began when the minors asked for extra rice with their half mandi. An argument followed after staff allegedly said extra rice was available only with full mandi. The students' relatives then filed a police complaint.
