Study evaluates impact of immune cells on cancer treatment success

A UCL and Francis Crick Institute study in Nature Genetics finds that immune cell levels impact cancer survival. Using ImmuneLENS, researchers analyzed 90,000 WGS samples, linking higher T-cell levels to a 47% lower death risk post-surgery. Findings suggest that immune markers could enhance cancer diagnosis and treatment, with potential for early detection.
