Study finds children's speech may predict mental health risks

Researchers found that how children connect words and build sentences may predict future depression and anxiety better than what they say. In a Nature Mental Health study, AI analysed interviews of more than 200 children aged 9-13 about stressful events. The models accurately predicted which children developed mental health conditions six years later, suggesting potential for early identification.
