Study finds genes affect sensitivity and mental health risk

An international study led by King's College London, published in Nature Human Behaviour, found that genetic factors influence how sensitive people are to their environment, affecting risks for ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, and psychotic-like experiences. The findings could help develop personalised mental health treatments based on biological sensitivity and life experiences.
