Duke University researchers have revealed a major difference between DNA and RNA, explaining why DNA is better-suited as the blueprint of life. The study revealed DNA double helix can take different shapes to absorb damages to the genetic code's basic building blocks. While, RNA, in a double helix form, is so rigid that it falls apart completely after experiencing damage.
