Study finds stressed parents may drive kids’ screen time

A new Florida International University study of 822 caregivers found that parental stress may influence children's screen use. Parents facing higher emotional stress were less consistent with screen-time rules, while those struggling with child behaviour were more likely to use screens to calm or occupy them. Researchers suggest focusing on content, routine and healthy development.
