Study finds Vitamin B12 helps slow age-related cognitive drop

A study in Alzheimer's & Dementia found that adults with higher vitamin B12 levels in mid- to late life experienced significantly slower declines in memory, executive function, and language over time. The protective effect was strongest when folate levels were high. The findings suggest regular monitoring and adequate B12 intake may help preserve cognitive health with ageing.
