Study flags early frailty in middle aged adults

A study led by Flinders University warns that frailty may start as early as age 40. Researchers linked early frailty signs to loneliness, feeling older than one's age, and negative ageing attitudes. Published in BMC Public Health, the study found that 60% of midlife adults were pre-frail. Experts urge early psychosocial interventions to delay progression and promote healthier ageing.
