A recent study has revealed Gujarat's increased susceptibility to various life-threatening infections, including rabies, and avian flu. The worrying news comes even as the state is reeling under the Chandipura virus infection which has so far killed 19 people in the worst outbreak in the country in the last 20 years, with a majority of those affected being children.
