Study warns social media weakens kids’ focus

Regular social media use may harm children's ability to focus, a major study of 8,300 kids aged 9-14 has found. Social media was linked to rising inattention. Researchers at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden and the Oregon Health & Science University warned that constant alerts and endless scrolling disrupt concentration, urging stricter age checks, screen-time limits and better digital habits.
