After an Air India flight carrying around 242 people crashed shortly after takeoff in Gujarat, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said the incident shook her to the core. "Stunned and shocked to know of the most tragic Air India plane crash," she said. "I convey my condolences to victims' families, even while we anxiously wait for survivors' details," she added.
