On Dostcast, Anuj Dhar said that Subhas Chandra Bose was the first to join and resign from the Indian Civil Service (ICS). He later became the Mayor of Calcutta and President of the Indian National Congress. At the time, the ICS was considered more prestigious than today’s IAS and IPS.
