While Egypt certainly is most famous for its pyramids, there is another country that outwits it in quantity, if not the popularity, of pyramids. And that place is Sudan. Here, there are more than 200 Kushite pyramids as opposed to some 130 odd pyramids in Egypt. The most popular is the Meroe Necropolis, a UNESCO world heritage site.
