Researchers from the University of Sheffield and COMSATS discovered that deoxyribose sugar gel, initially studied for wound healing, stimulates hair regrowth, offering a potential cure for male pattern baldness. The sugar promotes new blood vessel formation, rivaling existing treatments like minoxidil. If successful in human trials, it could provide a non-invasive solution for hair loss.
