Sun Pharma's US arm Taro to pay $205M to settle drug price-fixing case

Sun Pharma said its US-based subsidiary Taro Pharmaceuticals will pay $205.7 million to settle charges that it conspired to fix prices of generic drugs. Additionally, it will pay $213.3 million to resolve all claims related to federal healthcare programs. As per the DOJ, Taro and other companies fixed prices and rigged bids for several drugs, including medications for preventing seizures.
