Sun's magnetic poles flip as it hits peak in 11-year solar cycle

Sun has reached its solar maximum period, which could continue for the next year, announced NASA. This phase brings increased solar activity and potential impacts on Earth and space-based technologies. Roughly every 11 years, at the height of the solar cycle, Sun's magnetic poles flip. On Earth, that'd be like North and South poles swapping places every decade, said NASA.
