Veteran billionaire investor Vinod Khosla said Sun Microsystems, which he co-founded with three other people, was the only firm to bet on internet when Sun was founded in 1982. Speaking at All-In Podcast, Khosla said in 1996, internet was still growing but wasn't clear. "Every major telco in the US told me they'd never adapt TCP/IP for internet," he added.
