Marten Pieters, the Vodafone India Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, will be stepping down from his post 1 April. He will be succeeded by Sunil Sood, who is at present the chief operating officer at Vodafone India. Peiters, appointed as Vodafone India MD and CEO in February 2009, is the longest serving chief executive of any Indian telecom company.
