The ₹30,000-crore inheritance dispute between deceased billionaire Sunjay Kapur's wife Priya and mother Rani has been referred to mediation by the Supreme Court. The court urged both parties to resolve the issue, considering the advanced age of Rani. Directing all involved parties not to make any public statements over the dispute, the court appointed ex-CJI DY Chandrachud as the mediator.
