Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel-starrer 'Gadar 2' is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, reported Pinkvilla. The report states that the sequel takes a 24-year time leap from the 2001 film 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', which was set against the Partition. Sunny's character Tara Singh will reportedly go to Pakistan to save his son Jeete.
