Super El Niño could cost the world $451 billion; India, US, China face 60% of losses: Report

A report by Allianz Research has estimated that Super El Niño could wipe $451 billion off the global economy in 2027. China could suffer a gross output loss of $147 billion, while the US and India are projected to lose $91 billion and $50 billion, respectively. Together, the three economies could account for almost 60% of all gross losses.
