Accused can use unrelied seized documents in trial: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court ruled that accused persons can inspect documents seized during investigation but not relied upon by prosecution, and may seek their production during trial if relevant to defence. The verdict came in a CBI case linked to alleged fraud in awarding consultancy work for Central University of Jharkhand's campus, causing ₹1.92 crore loss.
