Supreme Court directs authorities to preserve Delhi protest CCTV footage

Supreme Court directed law enforcement agencies to preserve CCTV footage and other digital evidence related to the recent Delhi protest. It issued notices on plea challenging de-notification of Jantar Mantar as a protest site and a plea by Rahul Gandhi concerning Election Commission. The directive came after SC slammed EC for saying it lost a 2023 Karnataka vote counting video.
