Supreme Court flags Indians' data trading on dark web

The Supreme Court raised concerns over Indian citizens' personal data being traded on the dark web while hearing a plea about alleged data vulnerabilities in Star Health Insurance's systems. Justice Joymalya Bagchi noted it is "common knowledge" that Indians' data is being traded online. The Court stressed cybersecurity cannot be a one-time exercise.
