Supreme Court has allowed the Centre time till December 15 to implement the One Rank One Pension (OROP) scheme. The Centre had moved an application to extend the June deadline stating that re-fixation of pension is a "time consuming" process. The Centre assured the bench that it was "taking earnest steps" to comply with the order which requires Cabinet approval.
