Supreme Court orders Centre to remove CSEAM online

The Supreme Court, led by Justice JB Pardiwala, issued 20 directives to the Centre to detect and remove child sexual exploitation material (CSEAM) from platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The court also called for monetary penalties on non-compliant intermediaries and sought a compliance affidavit by December 10, 2026.
