The Supreme Court on Tuesday stayed the Allahabad High Court's order which directed Uttar Pradesh government on Monday to impose a lockdown in Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Kanpur and Gorakhpur till April 26. Uttar Pradesh government moved the apex court on Tuesday, stating that it is not in the domain of the Allahabad High Court to issue such directions.
