The Supreme Court has upheld the conviction in a case involving the murder of a school teacher in 2007. While dismissing appeals against the Madras High Court's judgment, it reiterated that any embroidery found cannot, per se, be a ground for discarding the prosecution case if there is a ring of truth in the main facts.
