Surgeons at US' UCLA Health have performed the world's first human bladder transplant on a 41-year-old patient, who had earlier lost most of his bladder due to tumour removal and had his kidneys removed. The surgery can potentially become a life-changing procedure for people suffering from bladder dysfunction. It was conducted over eight hours on May 4.
