The court-ordered survey of Gyanvapi mosque complex next to Kashi Vishwanath temple in UP has begun. The survey was ordered on a plea by five women to gain yearlong access to prayers at a Hindu shrine in the Gyanvapi-Kashi Vishwanath complex. Prayers are currently only allowed once a year at the shrine. Protests were reported from the site on Friday.
