Sushma Swaraj became youngest ever Cabinet Minister in 1977

Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, who turned 65 on Tuesday, became India's youngest ever Cabinet Minister in 1977 and was appointed as BJP's Haryana President in 1979. Swaraj was also the first woman spokesperson for a political party in India. Swaraj, who also practised as an advocate of the Supreme Court, became the first woman Chief Minister of Delhi in 1998.
