Former Union Minister Shakeel Ahmad met Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi on Thursday at her residence, however, nothing was officially stated on the meeting by the Congress. Ahmad was suspended from the party after he contested as an independent candidate against UPA candidate in Bihar during the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Sonia also met former Delhi Congress Presidents on Thursday.
