Suspended Uttarakhand police constable Sher Singh, who participated in Cockroach Janta Party protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, has been dismissed from service. The officials said a departmental inquiry found him guilty of "serious misconduct". "The action was taken to uphold discipline within the police force and maintain public confidence in the organisation," Pithoragarh SP Akshay Konde said.
