The government has cleared the names of Swaminathan Janakiraman and Ashwini Kumar Tewari as new Managing Directors of State Bank of India (SBI) for a period of three years. Janakiraman was serving as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of the bank. Tewari, who was the Managing Director and CEO of SBI Card since August 2020, resigned from the position.
