Sweden-based online payments startup Klarna raised $1 billion at a post-money valuation of $31 billion, making it the highest-valued tech startup in Europe. Klarna completed a $650 million funding round in September from a group of investors led by Silver Lake that valued it at nearly $11 billion. Klarna is also backed by Snoop Dogg and Ant Group.
