The Internet and Mobile Association of India, along with Eternal, Zepto, Swiggy, Urban Company and Valmo Transportation, has challenged the Karnataka Platform Based Gig Workers (Social Security and Welfare) Act, 2025 in the state High Court. The petition argues that the Act conflicts with the Centre's Social Security Code, 2020. It claims the law imposes additional obligations on aggregators.
