Swiggy delivery executives in Noida announced to go on a strike to protest against low wages. A letter addressed to CEO Sriharsha Majety mentioned that the executives were taking extraordinary risks by delivering food and essentials during the coronavirus pandemic. The executives demanded a minimum payout of ₹35 per order and restoration of monthly incentives among other things.
