SWR announces special trains from Bengaluru for festival rush

South Western Railway has announced special trains from Bengaluru to manage the expected Ganesh Chaturthi rush. Services will connect Yeshwanthpur and SMVT Bengaluru with Madgaon, Vijayapura and Belagavi. The special trains will operate between September 11 and 14, 2026, with stops at several key stations across Karnataka, the coastal region and Goa.
