Sydney reports first confirmed H5N1 bird flu case

Sydney has confirmed its first H5N1 bird flu case after the virus was found in a greater crested tern. NSW authorities urged residents to keep pet birds, chickens and dogs away from wild birds. No H5N1 cases have been detected in commercial poultry, captive birds or livestock in New South Wales so far, officials said.
