T. rex had 97°F body temperature similar to humans: Study

A study by UCLA of fossilised T. rex teeth found that the dinosaur maintained a body temperature of about 97°F, nearly identical to humans. The findings suggest T. rex was an active predator with a relatively fast metabolism rather than a sluggish animal. Researchers said that T. rex may be closer to a warm-blooded mammal than a modern reptile.
