Telangana’s newly established government medical colleges, built in rapid succession since 2022, are woefully under equipped to serve the students they enrol. A recent student survey across 12 such institutions revealed alarming deficits in transport, faculty, laboratories, hostels, and even basic amenities such as drinking water, power supply, and internet facilities.
