Cricketer-turned-commentator Simon Doull opined that T20 is the weakest format for LSG captain Rishabh Pant. "Pant has had a poor season [in IPL]. He is an unbelievable Test match player...But his records would not suggest that he is a great T20 player," he added. Pant has scored 135 runs in 12 games in IPL 2025, with an average of 12.27.
