Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam became the first Bangladesh player to pick 250 wickets in Tests. After taking five wickets in the first Test against Ireland, he followed up with four-wicket hauls in both innings of the second Test. Taijul overtook Shakib Al Hasan, who has 246 scalps, to become the country's highest wicket-taker.
