Tail strikes of world's deadliest scorpion studied 1st time

Portuguese scientists have studied for the first time the tail attacks of the 'death stalker', regarded as the most poisonous scorpion in the world. The researchers compared defensive tail strikes of various scorpions using a high-speed camera and then created 3D-models on a computer. It was revealed that different strike trajectories depend on the tail shape of the venomous arachnids.
