The Agra Municipal Corporation has issued notices to Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for ₹1.9 crore water tax and ₹1.5 lakh property tax on the Taj Mahal for the first time. The ASI has 15 days to clear the dues, failing which the property will be "attached". However, an ASI official said the notices could have been sent by mistake.
