Shankracharya of Dwarka Peeth, Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati on Thursday said that the famous Mughal monument Taj Mahal was actually a Hindu Temple of Lord Shiva. He claimed that the Mahadev was resting below the white marble mausoleum located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Recently, he had also said that there should be a nationwide beef ban to protect the 'sacred' cows.
