A public interest litigation (PIL) has been filed before the Delhi High Court, saying the Taj Mahal was not built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. The petitioner sought correction of facts about the Taj Mahal in history books. The petitioner said the Taj Mahal was originally the palace of Raja Man Singh which was subsequently renovated by Shah Jahan.
