Maharashtra Authority for Advance Rulings has said that General Motors India is liable to pay 18% GST on the transfer of leasehold land of its Talegaon facility to Hyundai Motor India. Reports said that the GST on building transfer will incur a total cost of ₹141 crore. Meanwhile, General Motors' asset transfer to Hyundai is valued at ₹787 crore.
